And what I don’t do

While I’m your life coach, both during and between sessions, I’ll be doing everything I can to get you to where you want to be.  I’m dedicated, genuine, encouraging and supportive.

However, what I won’t be doing is all of the work – this is a partnership and what you get out of it depends on what you put in.

When you commit to life coaching with me, your part of the deal is to:

  • Show up to sessions on time, prepared and focused

  • Take time in between sessions to ponder and reflect.  I know life is busy, but it’s worth the effort if you really want to get this stuff sorted.

  • Be accountable for the tasks you set yourself

  • Take a deep breath if something scares you – and let’s look at it together

I’m not the life coach for you if you want someone to give you all the answers or someone who will always agree with you.  If you want to keep up appearances and won’t look beneath the surface, then it’s unlikely we’ll achieve much.  And though I’ve been employed and self-employed, worked in commerce and healthcare and established small, successful businesses, I’m not the one to help if you only want to polish your CV or ace an interview.

My style is informal and what you see is what you get.  I don’t do motivational slogans or live an Insta life.  I’m a professional but I’m human.

I expect my clients to bring themselves – their true selves – to the process.
